Legend of the Mist Walker: Magichero

Random Ramblings

Dark Knight Rises now has a trailer (a real trailer). My first impression is that Catwoman’s line: “...you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.” sounds like something out of Occupy Wall Street. In fact, let me watch that trailer again.

Occupy Gotham

OH MY GOD, I WAS RIGHT!

Geez. I hope Batman isn’t dragged into this whole class warfare thing we have going on in this country. It’s bad enough that I rooted for the Joker in the last movie (his speech at the hospital really made sense to me), am I going to be upset when Batman defeats Bane this time around?

I’m going on a road trip this weekend, so I’m updating a little early. I hope everyone who follows Magichero reads Sinner. Yesterday was the first installment; I will add more to the story next Wednesday.

I enjoyed seeing The Birthday Massacre this week. Unfortunately, I wasn’t close enough to the stage to get any good pictures. Man, it was crowded. Makes me feel like I should know who Dir En Grey is. At the risk of offending any Dir En Grey fans reading this, I can’t say I’ll buy any of their albums. I just don’t do metal very well. I mean, Skinny Puppy screams in their songs, but at least I can still understand what they’re saying.

My new series starts today. So please everyone, check out Sinner, now updating on Wednesdays.

The new Muppets movie was a lot of fun. Having grown up on reruns of the Muppet Show and the Muppet Babies cartoon, I loved seeing group back together again. So go see it, I mean, what else are you going to watch, Twilight?

The Birthday Massacre show this week. Another bit of excitement for me. Weather looks like it’s turning bad here. I hope I can still make it to the show.

Also, be sure to check back on Wednesday when I start my new series.

A computer virus threw me off schedule. I seem to be up and running now so the story will resume as normal.

11-4-11
All right, announcement.

From the beginning, I expected this story to be bigger than it’s turned out to be so far. Magichero was always meant to be one portion of a larger tale. Unfortunately, between work and what little life I maintain, I haven’t been able to keep up with much more than Magichero.

Still, as Magichero progresses I feel like the story is diminished if I don’t move forward with other stories in other kingdoms in this world. With that being said:

A new story starts in December on Wednesdays.

I don’t think I can handle another webcomic right now, so I plan to use another format for this new project; it will be more of an illustrated story than a comic. I’m still not sure I can keep up with the project, but I’ll try and see where it goes.
