I read the first book of the Scott Pilgrim series. It’s pretty funny. I can’t wait to see the movie. It looks corny enough to be hilarious.

I finally got around to reading V for Vendetta. I had a lot of mixed feelings about it especially after I enjoyed Watchmen so much. It was hard to really hate the oppressive-1984-esque government because there was no emotional connection with the victims of that society. Every atrociety in that story felt like a fact from a history book.

I bought a bonsai tree. It’s already mostly shaped, I just need to keep it pruned and alive, I suppose. It should make for a nice starter tree.

I’ve signed up for and account on Deviant Art. I don’t have a whole lot posted there right now, but I plan on putting up some miscellaneous writings, artwork, and the like. So check it out from time to time.

I like the show Bones so I thought I’d try one of the books it’s based off of. I think I’ll stick with the show. I admit, part of the problem was that the book didn’t have the same characters, but that book had some major pacing problems--especially with the chapter cliffhangers. On top of that, the last sixty pages felt like the author just wanted to pad the book out to three hundred.

It’s official, I’m never dealing with Sears again. A misring by the salesman is causing me all kinds of headache with their rebate department. I guess I need them to come over to the house to prove that I have not returned the item I’m trying to get the rebate for. Sheesh.

I received the box set of Monty Python’s Flying Circus not to long ago. I haven’t seen that show in about seven years. Man, I forgot how dirty it was.
