I stopped by Hot Topic on the off chance that they might have the new Dommin cd, and there on the middle tier, center of the cd rack. Dommin. It’s not the full album, but it was four songs for $2, how could I turn it down. So now I have My Heart, Your Hands and Dark Holiday for my very own.

I picked up a couple of five pound weights to use when I do aerobic exercises. I feel bad now, the weights feel like nothing at all, but they slow me down so much. The joy of being scrawny.

I saw Salvation at the discount theater. The first two Terminator movies transcended the action flick genre, this one though... It tried to have emotional impact, it tried to have cool one-liners (and stole a few from the previous movies) but for the most part, it all fell flat. What really bothered me though was that the plot was based around Skynet targeting Kyle Reese (which in a way puts it in the same class as the other movies). However, unless I missed something, they never said how Skynet knows to do this, or why they know to use Kyle to trap John Connor. I mean, they had a chance to kill Kyle but didn’t, so Skynet may not know about the connection between Kyle and John, but somehow it knew taking Kyle would bring John running.

Damn. Just because I haven’t checked the Crüxshadows website in a while they announce a new single and a new tour. Quicksilver. Can’t wait for the new CD; can’t wait for the tour to come through my area.

I purchased a song by Hungry Lucy off iTunes, and it’s not even the version of the song that they used for the music video. Best I can tell, the music video version is only available on a rare LP. That’s just obnoxious. Why do I have to like outsider music?

I managed to snag a few Crüxshadows posters off ebay. This one looks so good over my bed. I think my bedroom is finally complete.

Computer troubles, but I’m back now! I’m caught up!

I finished American Gods. Big disappointment. I thought about going through and ripping out all of the pages that didn’t move the plot forward. Then I realized there wasn’t much of a plot in there anyway. The story was real weak and the climax was, well, anticlimactic. That and there were too many loose ends the main character had to tie up after the climax. And it was annoying when he went from not knowing anything about a subject to having a profound knowledge about it.
