I broke down and went to see Dark Knight the other day. I haven’t been into Batman for some time, but they made a great movie. This version of the Joker was fantastic. Strangely enough I can understand his point of view when he laid out his philosophy. That, and of course, he was hilarious. And...well, yeah, about 90% of the good parts in the movie involved the Joker. The high points for me were the bank robbery and the Joker’s face off with Harvey Dent at the hospital.

After days like today, I have to say that sales reps are one of the lowest forms of life. They’re right up there with lawyers. I wish someone would prove me wrong on that opinion, but sales reps are continually the bane of my existance. It’s not just me either; speak to anyone in any business who deals with sales reps and no one has anything good to say about them.

As of Tuesday, I have a second nephew. He came into the world about twenty-four days early, but both he and his mother are well, and that was all we could hope for.

Amazon took it’s sweet time shipping it, but I now have a copy of the Crüxshadows’ latest single, Immortal. If you haven’t followed my recommendation to check the band out yet, do it now. It’s okay, the comic will still be here when you get back. No... I’m not planning on moving it when your back is turned....

Finally, a relatively calm weekend. I have been so busy lately, it feels good just to have time to relax. I haven’t caught up on my reading (or gotten anywhere close) but I spent a little quality time with my books. And I actually pull out an old piece of writing and took some time to edit. Why can’t all weekends be this nice?

Happy 4th, everyone. Unfortunately, it’s been a straining one for me. My sister started having contraction a month and a half before her due date. The doctor gave her medication in hopes of prolonging the pregnancy, but she will have to take it easy for a while. Of course, everyone in the family is worried. Still, we’ll have to take solace in the fact that she has a good doctor.
