I’ll admit it; I’m the stay-at-home
type. I’m sure there are plenty out there who can say that. I
prefer to sit with a good book than to be around a crowd of people.
It’s a contradiction to my fear of loneliness, I’ll admit,
but that’s me. I try to be personable, so when someone from work
invited me along to a bar the other night, I went. It made for an interesting
experience, sitting in a crowded room where every fifth song wasn’t by
Kid Rock and where most of the guys had the same haircut and there
where three outfits repeated over and over.
Really, the only notable event of the night
was the fight that I didn’t even realize was a fight. I thought
these guys were two friends messing around, then one shoved the other
into the next room and the bouncers went after them.

A friend turned me onto Demetri Martin
this weekend. He’s a great comedian. Check him out at YouTube.
We need more indifferent graffiti.

This is a day of mourning. For earlier
today, my scanner passed from this world. After nearly five years,
the poor machine breathed its last. A memorial service will be held
next Tuesday at seven o’clock.

Lately I’ve seen P.S. I Love
You and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium. I have
to recommend both of them. P.S I Love You is the best romantic
comedy I’ve seen since As Good As It Gets and Mr.
Magorium’s Wonder Emporium is funny as well.
