For about a year now, I have been obsessed with the band the Crüxshadows. Only recently have I bought one of their songs off of iTunes (which shows you how far my obsessions and my pocketbook reach). The song I bought is called Eurydice. Check it out on YouTube.

Once again Hollywood provides us with a movie that falls apart in the last five to ten minutes. Sadly, this latest installment is Richard Matheson’s classic horror story, I Am Legend. If you’ve read the book, you probably want to avoid the movie; if you haven’t read the book, save the price of a movie ticket and look for the book on Ebay (it’s a novella and usually ridiculously priced retail). The ending of the story is completely changed in the movie, which not only robs it of the horror element, but also changes the meaning of the story (as well as the title). Matheson created a brilliant story of loneliness that is very disturbing; the movie fails on these two points. Pardon my cliché, but the book is better.

I Am Legend comes out today. Gosh, it seems like just the other day when I first heard that they were making that movie. These past few months have flown by. I probably won’t get a chance to see it until midnight tonight, or tomorrow (whatever). Here’s to hoping that they did a good job with it. I’ll post my opinion one way or the other.

It has finally happened. I’ve fought it off for quite some time now, but I have to face the inevitable. The comic is now a black and white. I loved the full color. I enjoyed coloring the comic; I liked the way it looked in color. However, I no longer have the time it takes to color. So, this is how the webcomic will survive. I’m sad that I have to say this, but such is life.

Snow! It’s actually snowing! Okay, it’s already melted before it hit the ground, but it looks pretty as Hell. That, and we can still scrape it off the vehicles to have a snowball fight. Ah, Texas weather.

Happy Thanksgiving! Sadly, I did not get any turkey this year, but I played with a program that makes video clips from DVDs. I had way too much fun with that.
