Leofwine

Leofwine is the owner of a small tavern within the capital city of Tarlea. A jovial man, Leofwine has welcomed Drefan with the same kindness that he gives all of his patrons.

Aemilia

Leofwine's wife and partner in running a tavern in the city of Tarlea. Aemilia is a strong and assertive woman who keeps on equal footing with her husband.

Lilja

Daughter of Leofwine and Aemilia. Lilja works as a wench in her family’s tavern. Being roughly the same age as Drefan, the two have become friends.

Edgear

Loyal retainer and once warrior of the fiefdom of Nastri. Edgear spent the better part of his life protecting the borders of Tarlea from the attacks of the Beastmen. Long since retired from the duties of a soldier, Edgear now performs the task of training Drefan in combat.

Roglas

Roglas earns his living as a tutor to merchants and nobility. Years ago, he educated the young lord of Nastri. Now Lord Nastri has hired Roglas to teach Drefan the lessons of the world.
